The purpose of the “Big Shooter Baseball Camp” is to teach the fundamentals of baseball to various age levels, helping each participant to better understand the game. The “Big Shooter Baseball Camp” will also aid in further development of individual skills through instruction, individual / multiplayer drills, as well as interaction with players off the field in a great camp setting. Campers will work hard but have fun!

Coach Baker and staff will conduct the camp in the same manner and in the same style as the Florida State Baseball Camps that he has directed for the past 25 years. The organization and set-up of the camp will permit quality instruction of all skill levels and ages. Each summer, Baker is the director of the Mike Martin and Seminole Advanced Baseball Schools. These camps have not only proved to be popular, but beneficial. Over 100 former campers have gone on to wear the Garnet and Gold at Florida State Universityand several have advanced to the major leagues. Past camps have produced 26 first round draft picks including John-Ford Griffin, Nick Stocks, Jonathan Johnson, J.D. Drew, Chipper Jones, Alex Rodriguez, Justin and BJ Upton. The nationally known Super Skills Academy has quickly become one of the nation's top summer camps

The camp is designed for those want to improve their skills and at the same time taste the feel of ‘big time’ college baseball. All campers are expected to listen, work to the best of their abilities, and follow camp rules.
